I thought I had heard it all. We all know of people that just "aren't quite right". Well, today I went online, and believe it or not, there's somebody who's suing God. Yes, you heard me right...suing God. It's an actual lawsuit filed by a Nebraska state senator who's an agnostic. The dictionary defines an agnostic as one who isn't committed to a belief that there is or isn't a God. This guy must believe there is a God, though, because if he didn't, why would he file a lawsuit against a person or entity which doesn't exist in the first place? Here's the link to the video about it. The guy is very serious and insists it's not a joke.
Suing God
I've commented on this very subject that everybody has a god they believe in, whether they're atheists, agnostics, or believers. Instead of reiterating what I said in my previous post, here's the link to the original article I wrote:
Believe in God?
I do believe that as absurd is all this is, that God will use it for His Glory. He always uses some of the most unconvential ways to get His Word out in the world. The scriptures say His word will be sent forth and will accomplish what He intends for it to do.
As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55:9-11)

Heh...it would be great if a thunderous voice said "I don't think so" and the guy disappeared. I wonder how the atheists would play that off. [TONGUE]
